Romuald Bogusz

Member of the Supervisory Board


 

In 1986, Mr. Bogusz graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, Department of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, obtaining a master’s degree in aircraft engine design. In subsequent years, he attended postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics (EU Projects) and at the French Institute of Management (Marketing and Finance). He began his career in 1990 as Chairman of the Board of the BMB Promotion Company. Since then, he has held office as a member of the management and supervisory boards in a number of companies, e.g. Protector SA, Centre for Environment and Development, Polish Commercial Chamber for Sustainable Development, and Regen Eco sp. z o.o. He has extensive experience working on the conceptual preparation and strategy development for renewable energy projects (in particular, projects that exploit the potential of waste materials produced by the food industry, public utilities and agriculture). He has worked on project integration in the field of renewable energy sources such as biomass, wind, and sunlight. Between 1992 and 2004, Mr. Bogusz managed systems for the promotion of export and foreign investments. For several years now, he has been associated with a number of governmental and public institutions, notably the Ministry of Economy, Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, Polish Chamber of Commerce for Sustainable Development, Austrian Chamber of Commerce, the Regional Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer in Kielce (promotion of energy self-sufficiency in local communities), the European Centre for Renewable Energy in Güssing (energy self-sufficient communities in Austria). He has also been cooperating with major commercial companies such as BDI/Enbasyss – Austria and Q Energy – Poland (biogas and syngas production), Horus Energia – Poland (gas cogeneration), Leitwind – Austria and Contino Wind Group – Poland (wind energy). Fluent in English, German and Russian.
